13 Oct - Bollywood celebrities continue to shower support for Shah Rukh Khan following his son's arrest in a drug case, after it was reported that an educational-technology company in India called Byju's has halted streaming its ads featuring SRK. Filmmaker Farah Khan, TV actor Nakuul Mehta, and actress Anjana Sukhani were among those who were vocal in criticising the said company, with the former writing on Twitter, "Read something about some brand pulling out SRK ads. The brand SRK is bigger than the brand that pulled out, so too bad for that brand." "More power to [Shah Rukh Khan]," she added.
"Dear brands, [SRK's] popularity, reach and charm is irreplaceable, the value he brings to the table as King Khan is way above the tragedy he is currently facing..." wrote Anjana. "Don't underestimate the power of the love his fans and admirers have for him across the globe and beyond." As for Nakuul, the actor decided to throw some shade, posting, "Being replaced by the serving minister who's son is arrested for murder charges. Class, Byju's." It is noted that Aryan, who was nabbed with seven others in a recent raid at a cruise party, is currently in judicial custody, with his next bail hearing to be heard at a sessions court on 13 October.
