10 May – Rumours are rife that Shah Rukh Khan is set to collaborate with Sanjay Leela Bhansali again after 19 years through the new movie, "Izhaar". According to Bollywood Hungama, sources recently claimed that the upcoming project was a film that Bhansali has always wanted to make with SRK in mind for the past four years. "It's a love story revolving around this couple – an Indian man and a Norwegian girl. It's based on the real-life story of the guy who cycled all the way to Norway for love," according to the source. "Bhansali wanted to adapt that into a screenplay and has reworked the script again for SRK's perusal. Now it needs to be seen if Shah Rukh green lights it this time around."
It is noted that the Bollywood star has not come out with any new movies since 2018's "Zero". His latest project, the Siddharth Anand's "Pathan" had begun filming in November 2020, though nothing has been reported as to when it will be released. SRK and Sanjay Leela Bhansali previously worked together back in 2012 on the tragic romance film, "Devdas", co-starring Aishwarya Rai and Madhuri Dixit. The filmmaker is currently working on the Alia Bhatt-starrer, "Gangubai Kathiawadi".
