13 Aug – "Captain Marvel" star Brie Larson recently assured that everything is well with the sequel of the movie, "The Marvels", which is scheduled to be released next year as part of Phase 4 of the MCU. The actress shared as much in an interview recently, stating that they have already begun filming the movie despite previous rescheduling and shuffling due to the COVID-19 pandemic. "It's pretty surreal though, I mean when you're doing films like this, they're unlike anything else. Huge sets, huge amount of people on set. A lot of specialist, specialty things. It's a really unique experience. I'm a huge fan of Disneyland and for me it feels like I get to go to my own private Disneyland every single day. Because they're building all these insane worlds that no one else knows about, no one gets to see...well, I mean you'll see it when the movie comes out, but for now? It's just mine," she said. "I don't know, I'm pretty just happy and stoked everyday. I don't find it to be that hard. I mean, these movies are quite epic to make and they take so many months... Right now I just feel pretty happy every day. I just smile a lot, I just feel pretty lucky I get to do this, get to play every day."
It is noted that "The Marvels" will be introducing new characters that include Monica Rambeau - S.W.O.R.D agent and daughter of Carol Danvers' friend and fellow airman Maria Rambeau, as well as Kamala Khan/Ms Marvel, a teenager with shape-shifting abilities. The movie is scheduled to be released in November 2022.
