28 May – Veteran actress Vanessa Redgrave recently denied that she will be starring in the upcoming Kevin Spacey comeback movie, "The Man Who Drew God".

The actress' clarification came after reports stated that she will be starring in the movie that will be helmed by her husband, Italian film personality Franco Nero.

A statement by Redgrave's rep read, "While there have been discussions about the possibility of her joining the cast, she will not appear in the film."

Kevin Spacey to make comeback with the new movie

It is noted that the upcoming film will mark Spacey's return to film following the multiple sexual assault charges and allegations of sexual misconduct that were directed against him since 2017. Spacey's last movie was the 2018's "Billionaire Boys Club", which was made before the accusations came to light, and released thereafter. The film was a flop even though Spacey only had a small supporting role.

The upcoming movie will star Nero as a blind artist who has the extraordinary gift of painting portraits of people just by listening to their voices, and has been accused of sexually abusing children. Spacey's role in the film is a police officer investigating the case.
