26 Aug – It was reported that the release of "Venom: Let There Be Carnage" is being delayed again.

According to Screenrant, the movie, which was originally scheduled to be released on 15 October 2021, will reportedly be postponed three months to 21 January 2022.

The move will likely delay the release of another Sony movie, "Morbius", which is originally slated to premiere on the said January date.

"Morbius" - starring Jared Leto - may face delay as well

No reason was given as to why the movie will delay its release, though the possibility of COVID-19 cases rise in numbers may be the culprit.

"Venom: Let There Be Carnage" is the sequel to 2018's "Venom", which stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock/Venom. The second movie also co-stars Woody Harrelson, Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris, Reid Scott, Stephen Graham and Peggy Lu.
