15 Nov – Although the first animated feature has yet to arrive on Disney+, Disney recently announced that it is going to be releasing the second animated film of the highly successful franchise, "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" next year.
The House of Mouse shared the news during the Disney+ Day event, stating that the second movie, "Rodrick Rules" will be heading for a 2022 release date on its streamer, following the first film's upcoming release on 3 December this year.

It was previously made into a live-action film in 2011 and stars Devon Bostick as Rodrick.
The first film, "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" is voiced by Brady Noon, Ethan William Childress and Chris Diamantopoulos, and directed by Swinton Scott.
