17 Feb – Aamir Khan recently announced that his new movie, "Laal Singh Chaddha" has postponed its release date. Again. The actor-filmmaker shared the bad news on social media via his company Aamir Khan Productions, which read, "This is to announce that our film, Laal Singh Chaddha, will not be releasing on 14th April as planned. This is because we are unable to complete the film in time. The film will now be releasing on 11th Aug 2022 in theatres worldwide." The company also expressed their thanks to Bhushan Kumar, T Series, Om Raut and the entire team of "Adipurush" for shifting the release date of their movie to give way for his film to be released on the aforementioned date.
"Laal Singh Chaddha", an official Hindi remake of Tom Hanks-starrer "Forrest Gump", was originally scheduled to be released on Christmas 2021, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Directed by Advait Chandan, the film also stars Kareena Kapoor, Mona Singh, and Naga Chaitanya among others.
