23 Nov – Another "John Wick" star Anjelica Huston is set to return in the upcoming spinoff of the franchise, "Ballerina". The actress, who played the role of The Director, the head of the Ruska Roma crime organisation in the third instalment, "John Wick 3 - Parabellum", will be reprising the role again in the new movie, which will star Ana de Armas in the lead. The Director, in the previous movie, is known for training young dancers as well as young assassins.
Producer Erica Lee stated, "The idea of Ballerina was formed around the scenes with Anjelica in John Wick 3. Anjelica Huston is an icon and is nothing less than Hollywood royalty. The world of Wick is always made richer by her commanding screen presence." The actress will be joining other "John Wick" alum, including Keanu Reeves and Ian McShane, the latter who will reprise his role as Winston, owner and manager of the Continental Hotel in New York.
