4 Oct – Bruce Willis' camp has recently denied previous reports that the actor has sold his digital likeness to a deepfake company. Earlier, it was reported that the "Die Hard" star sold his rights to a Russian company called Deepcake which will enable them to use his likeness in future projects following his decision to step away from showbiz. However, following the news, Willis' rep denied ever doing so, stating that "no partnership or agreement" has been made with the company. Meanwhile, a representative of Deepcake stated that the actor's digital-likeness cannot be sold, and that the company's involvement with the star was only via his representatives at CAA for a 2021 ad campaign. Willis announced his retirement from acting back in March after being diagnosed with aphasia, a disorder that affects his speech.
