28 Oct – Henry Cavill recently admitted that he has always hoped to return as Superman, having only one solo movie as the superhero character. The actor, who spoke to Josh Horowitz on his podcast after announcing his return via social media, stated that he was emotional the first time he put the cape back on for his cameo appearance in "Black Adam", and chose his first Superman costume - the one he wore in "Man of Steel" - for the cameo. "I chose that one in particular because of the nostalgia attached to the suit. It was incredibly important to me to be standing there and enjoying that moment. That is one of the top moments in my career. It feels great to have the opportunity to wear it again," he said.
However, when asked to share any details in terms of his upcoming Superman project, Cavill declined to do so, saying, "Right now I can't share anything ... but in time, I'll be able to share and everyone will hear all the exciting things to come." "There is such a bright future ahead for the character, and I'm so excited to tell a story with an enormously joyful Superman," he added.
