1 Apr – It's not all bad for Chris Rock following the Oscar's controversy.

After becoming the new meme following the slap he received from Will Smith at the recently concluded Academy Awards, it was revealed that Rock is now seeing a surge in ticket sales for his comedy tour.

It is noted that Rock is performing at the Wilbur Theatre in Boston from 30 March to 1 April.

TickPick, a secondary ticketing marketplace reported that it has sold more overnight tickets than it did in the past month combined, with the cheapest ticket going from US$46 to US$341.
