1 Apr – It's not all bad for Chris Rock following the Oscar's controversy.
After becoming the new meme following the slap he received from Will Smith at the recently concluded Academy Awards, it was revealed that Rock is now seeing a surge in ticket sales for his comedy tour.
It is noted that Rock is performing at the Wilbur Theatre in Boston from 30 March to 1 April.
TickPick, a secondary ticketing marketplace reported that it has sold more overnight tickets than it did in the past month combined, with the cheapest ticket going from US$46 to US$341.
Aside from his aforementioned shows, the comedian will also be touring Australia as part of the aptly named Ego Death World Tour, as well as another series of comedy tours alongside Kevin Hart.
On the other hand, Jada Pinkett Smith recently broke her silence regarding her husband's behaviour at the Oscars, posting a message on Instagram that read, "This is a season for healing and I'm here for it."
