20 Oct – Daniel Craig is now sharing the same royal honour bestowed to his most famous fictional character James Bond - Companion of the Order of St Michael and St George.

The ceremony was held on 18 October at Windsor Castle, with Princess Anne stepping in for her older brother King Charles III in handing out the honours.

The Royal Family Twitter account also shared the good news by captioning the photo with the famous Bond villain phrase, "We've been expecting you."

It is noted that Craig's CMG was actually confirmed last year, prior to Queen Elizabeth's passing. He was honoured for his outstanding contribution to film and theatre.

It is noted that the fictional character created by Ian Fleming received the same honour in the author's 1954 book "You Only Live Twice".
