22 Aug – Following the success of "Uncharted", it was reported that Sony is now eyeing another PlayStation title for its upcoming adaptation.

Deadline reported that Sony PlayStation Productions, the movie division of the studio's videogame arm, is now developing the live-action adaptation of "Days Gone", to be penned by Oscar winner Sheldon Turner ("X-Men: First Class", "Up in the Air").

The film is also considering Sam Heughan of "Outlander" fame to play the lead role of Deacon St. John aka Deek, a former soldier turned mercenary.

The video game, created by Bend Studio, revolves around Deek as he fights to survive against the forces of mutated predatory humans in his quest to find his loved ones.

Deadline also stated that the movie will be a "love ballad to motorcycle movies" in a post-pandemic "modern-day western".

Not much information has been released about the project for the time being.
