5 Jul – Now that all the roles have been filled, it was revealed that the production of "Dune: Part Two" is ready to begin.
The Legendary Entertainment film reportedly has been pre-shooting in Altivole, Italy in the Veneto region for two days, and that the cast will then begin the shoot on 21 July in Budapest, Hungary.
It is noted that the city was where the first film was shot.
The movie, which was originally scheduled for an October 2023 release, has been pushed back to 17 November 2023, giving the team a month more to complete the movie.
Original cast members including Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya, and Javier Bardem will reprise their roles, with the addition of new cast members that include Léa Seydoux, Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken and Austin Butler joining.
The first film made USD 401.8 million at the box office when it was released in October last year.
