19 May – The highly-anticipated biopic "Elvis" has recently released new character posters.

The film shared these new images on social media on 17 May, in which lead actor Austin Butler, who plays the King of Rock and Roll, is seen in several different poses and wardrobe, including Elvis' famous white jumpsuit.

The upcoming movie is directed by Baz Luhrmann of "Moulin Rouge" and "The Great Gatsby" fame, and explores the life and music of Elvis Presley, seen through the prism of his complicated relationship with his enigmatic manager, Colonel Tom Parker (played by Tom Hanks).

According to Warner Bros. synopsis, "The story delves into the complex dynamic between Presley and Parker spanning over 20 years, from Presley's rise to fame to his unprecedented stardom, against the backdrop of the evolving cultural landscape and loss of innocence in America. Central to that journey is one of the most significant and influential people in Elvis's life, Priscilla Presley."

The upcoming movie will be in theatres beginning 24 June.
