Marvel's "Fantastic Four" will not be another origin story

29 Jul - Kevin Feige recently assured that the upcoming "Fantastic Four" movie will not be another origin story, following the previous two versions.

The Marvel Studios' president, who spoke to THR about the project, said that a lot of people already knew the story of how the Fantastic Four came to be.

"A lot of people know the basics. How do we take that and bring something that they've never seen before," he said. "We've set a very high bar for ourselves with bringing that to the screen."

It is noted that another reboot of the franchise has been one of the most anticipated projects of Marvel, after the last one released in 2015 received a lacklustre response.

Fans got the first taste recently, when John Krasinski played a version of Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic as part of the Illuminati in "Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness".

The film is scheduled for a November 2024 release.
