26 Jul – After much speculations about whether or not "Fantastic Four" is going to get another reboot, Marvel Studios recently announced that it is working towards it. The news was announced by Marvel head Kevin Feige at the San Diego Comic-Con, saying that the movie will be kicking off Phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with its release on 8 November 2024. Nevertheless, there is still no information as to who will helm the Fantastic Four project nor the cast members. Jon Watts, who previously said to be directing the project, backed out to take a breather after working on three "Spider-Man" movies.
It is noted that an alternate version of Fantastic Four leader, Mr Fantastic/Reed Richards previously appeared in "Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness", played by actor John Krasinski. Prior to Krasinski, the character was played by Miles Teller in the not-so-stellar 2015 film, and most famously by Ioan Gruffudd in the 2005 version and its sequel, "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer".
