Not much is known about the upcoming movie other than the fact that it will tell the origin story of Imperator Furiosa, the one-handed war captain under Immortan Joe in "Mad Max: Fury Road" who turns against him in order to free "The Five Wives".

While the original Furiosa was played by Charlize Theron, the upcoming movie will have Anya Taylor-Joy playing the titular character.

Aside from George Miller, who will be helming the film, "Furiosa" will also see the return of several "Fury Road" team members, including production designer Colin Gibson, editor Margaret Sixel, and makeup designer Lesley Vanderwalt.

It also co-stars Tom Burke, Angus Sampson, and Nathan Jones as Rictus Erectus.
