19 Oct – It looks like the future is bleak for another Marvel-James Gunn collaboration after the upcoming final instalment of "Guardians of the Galaxy", as it was reported that the director is planning new things with DC. As reported on THR, the filmmaker, who previously helmed the hit DC movie, "The Suicide Squad", is secretly working on another DC movie for Warner Bros Discovery, specifically with "Shazam!" producer Peter Safran. The project reportedly will come after Gunn completes the second season of his hit TV show "Peacemaker", which is a spinoff of the said 2021 movie.
No news as to whether the upcoming project will have a link to "The Suicide Squad" as well. It is noted that Gunn previously declared that the third "Guardians of the Galaxy" movie, which will be released in May next year, will be the last one for him, though whether another version of the title with different cast members and crew will be planned in the future is still unknown.
