4 Nov – Jennifer Lawrence has one film that she regrets doing, and according to the actress, even Adele warned her about it. The actress, who sat down for an interview with New York Times recently, stated that the British singer told her not to sign on to "Passengers", her 2016 sci-fi movie co-starring Chris Pratt that revolves around two spacecraft passengers who are awakened nine years early from their induced hibernation. "Adele told me not to do it! She was like, 'I feel like space movies are the new vampire movies.' I should have listened to her," she said.
It is noted that while the movie, directed by Morten Tyldum, made USD 303 million at the box office, it was critically panned, with The Guardian calling it "interstellar version of social-media stalking". On the other hand, Lawrence also revealed that she has departed from Adam McKay's upcoming movie, "Bad Blood", which will revolve around Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes. Said the actress, she made the decision not to do the movie after seeing Amanda Seyfried portraying Holmes in the series, "The Dropout". "I thought she was terrific. I was like, 'Yeah, we don't need to redo that.' She did it," she added.
