16 Nov – The Latin American Film Festival (LAFF) 2022 returns to Malaysia with a specially curated list of the best Latin American movies for audiences. And the best part is that screenings to all LAFF movies are free! Following up the tradition and the success of the past editions, the 20th edition of LAFF aims to display the Latin America and Caribbean countries' rich cultural heritage, while giving the opportunity to show the best of their creative industries and thus, reaching increasingly a broader audience in Malaysia. The films will be screened exclusively at GSC 1Utama in Petaling Jaya, Selangor from 17-20 November, and GSC Gurney Plaza in Penang from 24-27 November.
Featuring seven movies from various genres that range from comedy and thriller to family-friendly animation, the festival creates an opportunity for the viewers to enjoy a diverse portrayal of the culture, social aspects and languages of these countries. The free tickets can be redeemed at the dedicated LAFF table in GSC 1 Utama one hour prior to the respective screening showtimes, while tickets last. Redemption is limited to 4 tickets only. Ticket redemption is valid for the same day as the movie screening date and is based on a first-come, first-served basis. To redeem tickets at GSC Gurney Plaza in Penang, kindly log on to the GSC website, www.gsc.com.my, or via the GSC Mobile App and GSC ticketing kiosk in GSC Gurney Plaza. Redemption is limited to 2 free tickets per redemption, inclusive of GSC booking surcharge.
