25 Jul – Good news, Marvel fans. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has now confirmed the complete lineup for Phase 5. In an announcement made at the San Diego Comic-Con recently, Marvel President Kevin Feige stated that Phase 4 will end with the upcoming "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever", and will continue with Phase 5 with "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" in February next year. This will be followed by "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" on 5 May 2023, "The Marvels" on 28 July 2023, "Blade" on 3 November 2023, "Captain America: New World Order" in May 2024, and "Thunderbolts" on 26 July 2024.
Speaking about the upcoming Captain America film, which will see Sam Wilson taking on the stars and stripes following the conclusion of "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier", producer Nate Moore said that the film is going to be akin to "Rocky", in which Wilson will be the underdog in all situations. "He's not a super soldier. He's not a hundred years old. He doesn't have the Avengers. What happens with this guy who announces publicly kind of, without the support, 'I'm new Captain America.' What happens next? I think is fascinating because he's a guy. He's a guy with wings and a shield, but he is a guy," he said. In addition, there are several new series on Disney+ to be released soon, including "Secret Invasion" in spring next year, "Echo" and season 2 of "Loki" in summer, "Ironheart" in the fall, "Agatha: Coven of Chaos" in winter, as well as "Daredevil Born Again" in spring 2024.
