1 Mar - Just like the character Cloud Strife (and most young male teens in the '90s), Robert Pattinson recently admitted that he was in love with Square Enix's RPG classic, "Final Fantasy VII" - particularly the two ladies from the said video game.

In a recent interview with Clique alongside "The Batman" co-star Zoe Kravitz, Pattinson was asked about the said RPG, and revealed that he shed a tear during the famous death scene of Aerith Gainsborough in the game.

"I was in love with Aerith... and Tifa," he said, as Kravitz looked on without any context. "It's the two options of gals you can have. It's the best."

He then went on to explain to Zoe Kravitz that Aerith is the girl with the ability to heal people, while describing Tifa as the sexy thief with the short skirt.

"And Aerith, right at her peak, was killed," he said. "This is how every guy that played figured what love is, and that's the ideal woman and then it never gets any..."

"Even the one that's gonna heal everything and the one with the short skirt? These are the options? Oh my God. This is the problem with the world," said Kravitz, lightheartedly, as Pattinson laughed.

"Final Fantasy VII" was one of the more popular instalments of the Final Fantasy series. First released in 1997, the game was later remade in 2020. The game follows Cloud Strife, a former 1st Class SOLDIER who joins an eco-terrorist organisation to stop a world-controlling megacorporation from using the planet's life essence as an energy source.
