1 Nov – While many fans are calling for Daniel Radcliffe to be the next Wolverine, the British actor himself doesn't seem very keen on playing the character. Speaking about the Wolverine casting in an interview with GQ, Radcliffe stated, "It's purely a press tour rumor. I say something, and then occasionally I get bored of answering that way so I say something different, and that sets it off again. I should just never open my mouth." Radcliffe, who knows what it feels like being identified as that one unique role - being Harry Potter for many years since his childhood - stated that he doesn't want to get locked into something that he is not sure he will be able "to love the same amount the whole time."
In a previous interview, the actor said that people listed him as one of the potential Wolverine due to the character's own height. It is noted that Wolverine in the comics is only 5.3 ft, which is a foot shorter than its actor Hugh Jackman, who is also returning as the X-Men character in the upcoming "Deadpool 3". Meanwhile, Radcliffe himself is 5.5 ft.
