28 Jul - Although the James Bond camp has yet to decide on the next 007, the Russo Brothers think they have the perfect candidate to be the next in line after Daniel Craig. The two directors, who are currently promoting their new Netflix movie, "The Gray Man", believe that one of the movie's cast members Regé-Jean Page will be the best person for the role. "He's fantastic. I mean, he has more charisma in his pinky than most people do in their entire body. So you know, we'd watch him do anything – I mean we'd watch him read the phonebook!" said Joe Russo. Brother Anthony added, "[He's a] very savvy performer and [has] so much charm."
Page, who had a breakout role in the Netflix Regency-inspired series, "Bridgerton" as Simon Basset the Duke of Hastings, has been getting Hollywood movie roles left and right since he left the said production. Aside from "The Gray Man", Page is also appearing soon as The Paladin in the upcoming movie, "Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves". Earlier this month, producer Barbara Broccoli stated that the next instalment of the franchise will be a reinvention of the character, though they have not approached anybody yet as there is no script for the time being.
