23 Feb – Sarath Kumar has now decided on his 150th film, announcing that he will be starring in the new movie, "The Smile Man".
Sharing the good news on social media with a concept poster, the Tamil superstar wrote, "Happy to associate with Magnum Movies for my 150th film. Directed by [Syam Praveen] titled as #THESMILEMAN."
"Wishing the team all the best," he added.
According to the movie's co-writer, the story of "The Smile Man" revolves around a retired police officer who must solve one last case before the mysteries in his life haunt him.
"The film will be an edge-of-the-seat thriller because Sarath Kumar's character has Alzheimer's disease, so he must race against time to crack this case before he loses his memories," he added.
Among other cast members include Sija Rose, George Maryan, and Rajkumar.
On the other hand, Sarath will have four new movies releasing this year, including the Mani Ratnam epic, "Ponniyin Selvan".
