29 Apr – Warner Bros. recently announced that it has rescheduled the release of "Shazam! Fury of the Gods" yet again. The film, which was originally slated to release in 2023, was earlier pushed for an advanced release on 16 December of this year. However, it has now been announced that the DC sequel will be delayed a few days from 16 December to 21 December. Sources stated that the move was made so not to share the release date with the long-awaited sequel, "Avatar: The Way of Water", seeing that the latter's original film was the highest-grossing movie of all time and would surely be a huge competition.
December is known as the month to look out for big blockbusters, as films like "Aquaman" and "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" were all box office successes when they were released during the Christmas season. The upcoming David F. Sandberg film has Zachary Levi returning as the titular character, with the addition of Jack Dylan Grazer, Asher Angel, Rachel Zegler, Adam Brody, Ross Butler, D.J. Cotrona, Grace Fulton, Meagan Good, Lucy Liu, Djimon Hounsou, and Helen Mirren.
