24 Aug – Just two months after the film was released in cinemas worldwide (not Malaysia though!), it was revealed that Disney/Marvel's "Thor: Love and Thunder" is coming to Disney+ this September. According to NST, the superhero movie, which will be premiering on the streaming service on 8 September, is just one of many other Disney new lineup, which include "Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Jedi's Return", "Remembering, Dancing with the Stars: The Pros' Most Memorable Dances", "Tierra Incógnita", the "Frozen and Frozen 2 Sing-Alongs", and "Welcome to the Club", a new short from The Simpsons. The film was previously cancelled from showing in Malaysia after multiple delays, though Disney made no mention as to the reason why.
On the other hand, around the world, Consumer Products, Games and Publishing will also be celebrating Disney+ Hotstar Day.
