5 Jan - James Cameron recently revealed that he will be introducing "bad Na'vis" in the upcoming third instalment of "Avatar". In a recent interview with France's 20 Minutes, the director shared that the third movie will explore a third clan of Pandora that will show off a darker side of the Na'vi. "In the early films, there are very negative human examples and very positive Na'vi examples," said Cameron. "In 'Avatar 3', we will do the opposite. We will also explore new worlds, while continuing the story of the main characters. I can say that the last parts will be the best. The others were an introduction, a way to set the table before serving the meal."
The first movie released in 2009 introduced us to the Omaticaya clan, while "The Way of Water" has the Sully family meeting the water-dwelling Metkayina. According to Cameron, the third movie will revolve around the "Ash People", or the fire tribe. "Avatar 3" has already finished production on movie number three, which is set to be released in December 2024.
