5 Apr - Director Chad Stahelski is now opened to the idea of movie No. 5 for his hit franchise, "John Wick". The filmmaker, who was interviewed on THR's Behind the Screen podcast recently, responded to the previous statement made by Lionsgate head, Joe Drake about wanting to greenlight another John Wick movie. He said, "It's very flattering for them to come back and, you know, say 'We want more' and it's not just a cash grab. It's legitimately the audience wants more."
However, Stahelski stated that they may need a little bit of time to do so, to see what they can do next. "If Keanu and I, a few months from now sit down at a whiskey bar in Japan again and go, 'Yep, we'll never do another one of those,' and then all of a sudden go, 'Yeah, but I got an idea,' we're open to it," he added. "John Wick: Chapter 4" has already made USD 245 million globally in its second weekend in theatres, though it did not make as much as it did when it first opened on 24 March.
