30 Jan – The National Film Development Board of Malaysia (FINAS) has already sent a letter of reprimand to the producers of the film, "Pulau" following its controversial trailer.

CEO Dr Md Nasir Ibrahim shared as much to mstar, stating that the trailer needs to be reedited since it does not display the movie's real storyline.

"The letter was sent via the FINAS Corporate Communications Unit to the producers of the film. For me, the trailer needs to be revised because it doesn't reflect the real story. It only highlighted sensational scenes to attract attention," he said.
