The actor channels his feline side

3 May - Jared Leto, THE king when it comes to Met Gala, got heads turning his way again at the 2023 event as he decided to come as a cat.

Karl Lagerfeld's cat, to be exact.

The singer and actor arrived at the event, with the theme of honouring the said fashion designer, in full catsuit, to honour Lagerfeld's beloved blue-cream tortie Birman cat, Choupette.

It is noted that the cat, originally belonging to French model Baptiste Giabiconi, was gifted to Lagerfeld around Christmas 2011 and had been with the designer until his death in February 2019.

However, Leto was not the only one to be inspired by Lagerfeld's cat, as singer Doja Cat also thought the same thing, arriving at the event in a look by Oscar de la Renta, complete with cat prosthetics.

It is noted that Leto has always been a favourite at the annual fashion event, having never disappoint fans and media alike with his looks, from the time he leaned in on the joke about looking like Jesus to arriving at the Met Gala like one, to the time he attended the event holding a replica of his own head.
