5 Sep - Jenna Ortega has laughed off the randomness of the recent rumours linking her to Johnny Depp. The actress, who is 40 years Depp's junior, recently took to Instagram Story to dismiss online theories that the two are romantically involved, after a celebrity gossip outlet made an inaccurate report about the two being seen together.
"This is so ridiculous I can't even laugh," the "Wednesday" star posted. "I have never met or worked with Johnny Depp in my life. Please stop spreading lies and leave us alone."
Meanwhile, a representative of Depp also shuts down the romance rumour, as well as speculations that he will be working with Ortega in "Beetlejuice 2". "Mr. Depp has no personal or professional relationship with Ms. Ortega whatsoever. He has never met her or spoken to her," the statement read.
