3 Jan – Jeremy Renner's family recently revealed that the actor is still in ICU, but in stable condition, following a snow plowing accident that occurred late Sunday night.

In a statement released on 2 January, the "Hawkeye" actor's family stated that Renner has suffered "blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries" and has already undergone surgery.

"Jeremy's family would like to express their gratitude to the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him, Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue, Washoe County Sheriff, Reno City Mayor Hillary Schieve and the Carano and Murdock families. They are also tremendously overwhelmed and appreciative of the outpouring of love and support from his fans," the statement read.

According to Washoe County Sheriff's Office near Reno, Nevada, they were called to Renner's residence in the area of Mt. Rose Highway, to arrange for medical transport of the actor to a local hospital back on 1 January.
