The director announces first project under his new banner, G Squad

1 Dec – After announcing the establishment of his production company, filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj announced the first project under his new banner, G Squad.

On 29 November, the director shared the first teaser poster of his new project, which is called "Fight Club", and tweeted, "A new beginning. Super kicked to present #FightClub featuring [Vijay Kumar] and gang."

He also revealed that the movie will be helmed by Abbas A Rahmath.

Lokesh launched his own studio earlier this week

It was earlier this week that Lokesh revealed that he will be launching his studio, G Squad, which he said will be dedicated towards "redefining the landscape of storytelling and entertainment."

Meanwhile, the director is also currently busy working on Rajinikanth's 171st movie, currently dubbed "Thalaivar 171".

Lokesh's last film was the Vijay-starrer, "Leo"
