10 May - Nearly a year after the passing of "Goodfellas" star Ray Liotta, the cause of his death was finally revealed. In documents obtained by TMZ from the officials in the Dominican Republic, where the actor breathed his last, it was revealed that the actor was suffering from pulmonary oedema, respiratory insufficiency and acute heart failure, as well as atherosclerosis, a buildup of fats, cholesterol and other substances in and on the artery walls, as an underlying issue.
Prior to his death, he completed the Elizabeth Banks movie, "Cocaine Bear" as well as Charlie Day's directorial debut, "Fool's Paradise". He was also honoured with a posthumous star on Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles back in February, with daughter Karsen Liotta accepting the award on his behalf. He was 67.
