16 Jan - SS Rajamouli's "RRR" continues to show its prowess in Hollywood, as the movie has won yet another award, this time at the Critics Choice Awards 2023.

The film was recently named Best Foreign Language Film at the event, which was held on 15 January in Los Angeles, as well as Best Original Song for "Naatu Naatu".

Accepting the award for Best Foreign Language Film, director SS Rajamouli thanked the women in his life, beginning with his mother, saying, "She thought school education was overrated and she encouraged me to read comics and storybooks, and she encouraged my creativity."

Thanking his wife Rama Rajamouli, who is also a costume designer, he expressed, "More than that, she's the designer of my life."

Despite such success, it is noted that "RRR" was not nominated at the Oscars for Best International Film, as India had decided to send Gujarati movie, "Chhello Show" instead.
