Directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers and Justin K. Thompson, most of audience members shared their positive feedbacks after watching the movie. The first Spider-Verse was considered to be more 'relaxed', whereas this sequel presents more action, sacrifices, family and friendship stories and a darker storyline, but not overshadowed by comedy that keeps the audience entertained. The 'multiverse' concept is seen as much more interesting because it offers more versions of the "Spider-Man" characters with their own personal stories.
