7 Jul – Tom Cruise wants to go by way of Harrison Ford when it comes to "Mission: Impossible" - that is by portraying Ethan Hunt until he is in his 80s.

In a recent interview promoting "Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One", the actor called Harrison Ford a legend, as the 81-year-old actor recently reprised his role as Indiana Jones for the last time through "Dial of Destiny".

"I hope to still be going," said Cruise. "I've got 20 years to catch up with him. I hope to keep making Mission: Impossible films until I'm his age."

Playing Ethan Hunt for the first time when he was 34, Cruise is now 61, and continues to do his own action stunts for the "Mission: Impossible" franchise.

The upcoming movie is set for release on 13 July, while Part Two will be out in June next year.
