27 Aug - Just like other actors of his age, Denzel Washington recently admitted that he only has a few more films in him before quitting the industry altogether.

The actor, who spoke to Empire to promote the upcoming Ridley Scott film, "Gladiator II", shared that he would only make movies that inspire him nowadays, and that he was tremendously inspired by the filmmaker Ridley Scott.

"We had a great go-round the first go-round and here we are. He's engaged. He's excited about life and his next film. He's an inspiration. We should all want to feel like that at 86," he said.

Washington is also excited about the upcoming sequel to the 2000 film, saying that it is the best thing he has ever made.

"One of the best things. I've made a few good 'uns... it's full-bore, brutal action."

The actor previously hinted about retiring from acting at the American Black Film Festival in Florida a couple of months ago.

He said, "The things that are going on for me professionally behind the camera are as important to me now as in front of the camera. I think there's less and less time I'll be spending in front of the camera."
