8 May - Dhanush's upcoming film "Raayan" is set to be released in June.

The news was confirmed by the actor on social media, as he shared a new poster of the movie to announce the release of its first single from music maestro AR Rahman.

The poster itself bore the words "June 2024, in cinemas worldwide" on top. Meanwhile, the first single will be released on 9 May.

Produced by Sun Pictures, "Raayan" marks Dhanush's sophomore directorial effort and is said to be a gangster drama centred around three brothers. The three will be played by Kalidas Jayaram, Sundeep Kishan, and Dhanush himself.

Aside from "Raayan", the actor will also be seen next in "Kubera".
