"Don Dukun" works its magic at box office
7 Nov - "Don Dukun" continues to make bank as it accumulated RM3 million in just six days of release.

Executive Producer of the Zul Ariffin horror-comedy and Head of Astro Shaw, Raja Jastina Raja Arshad stated, "We are very grateful for the continuous support from the audience who went to the cinema to watch Don Dukun. Through our survey, there are viewers who even went for a rewatch with their loved ones."

"We are happy to see that this film is able to bring families together. For those who have not seen this film, we invite them to witness for themselves the solid performances and different sides of actors Zul Ariffin, Ropie, Douglas Lim, Datuk Yusof Haslam and many others," she added.

"Don Dukun" is produced by Astro Shaw in collaboration with Infinitus Productions and GSC, directed by Waan Hafiz.

The film tells the story of Don Arif, an 'Instafamous shaman' who aspires to be as great as his shaman ancestors, despite having to use various gimmicks and tricks to attract his followers on social media.

However, his dream is hindered by his own father, a respected shaman, who refuses to teach him the sacred knowledge of the family heritage. Things change when a rich widow appears with a lucrative offer to save her stepson. Don Arif finds himself stuck in fierce competition with other shamans who were also hunting for the bounty.
