16 Aug - Never one to say no to sequel, Disney recently announced the release date for the third instalment of "Frozen" and confirmed the development of a fourth film.

The movie is set to be released in November 2027, eight years after the second film was released.

The news came not long after Walt Disney Animation's chief creative officer Jennifer Lee shared the first concept art for Frozen 3 at D23.

It is noted that the first "Frozen" movie made USD 1.28 billion at the box office, while the second film became the second highest grossing animated feature of all time at USD 1.45 billion.

A twist to the Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale, "The Snow Queen", the animated flick features the voice acting of Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell, who play royal sisters Elsa and Ana whose relationship is jeopardised by Elsa's dangerous icy powers.
