15 Jan – It's another blow for Jonathan Majors, who has been dropped from the upcoming Dennis Rodman film, "48 Hours in Vegas".

The actor, who was found guilty of an assault charge and one harassment violation related to an altercation with ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari, will not be a part of the film anymore, while Lionsgate announced that it will no longer develop the film.


The project will now seek other potential buyers.

"48 Hours in Vegas" project was first announced in 2021, and will focus on Rodman's trip to Las Vegas during the 1998 NBA Finals. Rodman played the forward for Chicago Bulls at the time.

Majors was signed on to play Rodman in the movie, and previously revealed in an interview that he hoped to sit down with the professional basketball star ahead of filming.
