29 Apr - It was revealed that "Kraven the Hunter" is having its release date pushed back yet again, this time to 13 December 2024.

As reported on THR, the Aaron Taylor-Johnson starrer is now taking over the spot previously slotted for "The Karate Kid", which will now be released on 30 May 2025.

It is noted that "The Karate Kid" delayed its release date so that it can be released following the final season of the movie's series spinoff "Cobra Kai", which previously has to be delayed due to the SAG-AFTRA strike last year.

Meanwhile, "Kraven the Hunter" was also a victim of the strike, as it was originally scheduled for October 2023 release but was delayed as the studio didn't want to release the movie without ample promotion by its actors.

The upcoming movie, which revolves around the Marvel "Spider-Man" antagonist, will be facing competition from New Line's animated feature, "The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim".
