Lokesh Kanagaraj unveils character posters for "Coolie"


"Coolie" is one of the most highly-anticipated flicks for 2025
3 Sep - Lokesh Kanagaraj has recently unveiled several images of the actors that are a part of his Rajinikanth-starrer, "Coolie".

Beginning with the photo of Soubin Shahir as a character called Dayal, the filmmaker went on to release other character images that include Nagarjuna as Simon, Shruti Haasan as Preethi, Sathyaraj as Rajasekar and Upendra as Kaleesha.

Each and every character are presented in black and white, except for the items they held in their hands.


Sathyaraj's Kaleesha has what looks like electrical wire in his hand, Upendra's Kaleesha a hook, Shruti's Pretty with a shovel, Nagarjuna's Simon wearing a gold watch, while Soubin holding another gold watch in his hand. No information was given as to the significance of the items.

The film is one of the most highly-anticipated flicks for 2025, though no actual date has been announced yet. It is produced by Sun Pictures, with Anirudh Ravichander working on the music.
