7 Jun - Martin Lawrence has dismissed the notion that he is having a health problem, following his recent appearance at the premiere of "Bad Boys: Ride or Die".

Rumours of a health issue sparked recently, after fans noticed that Lawrence had to be led by co-star Will Smith as they walked atop a bus to address the crowd. The actor was also noticeably less energetic than Smith during the event.

When asked about the situation during a morning radio show, where he was seen looking around atop the bus, Lawrence said that it was because he was surprised by the number of fans in the crowd that attended the event.

"I was like, 'Oh, this is rock concert stuff. What the hell is going on? [This is] for a movie?'," he joked.

He denied that he had any health trouble, saying, "I'm fine. I'm in God's hands. I'm blessed. You know, I'm glad to be waking up every day. I'm all good. No need for people to be concerned."

Near the end of the interview, Lawrence reiterated his words yet again, and joked, "I'm healthy as hell. Stop the rumours!"

While Lawrence is adamant about being fine, it is noted that the 59-year-old was not always in good health. The actor has had several emergencies including slipping into a three-day coma in 1999 after collapsing from severe heat exhaustion.
