26 Jan – "House of the Dragon" star Milly Alcock is one of the two actresses who are revealed to have screen tested for "Supergirl" recently. As reported on THR, the actress attended the screen test on 23 January, which was held to select the new Supergirl for the James Gunn and Peter Safran DC Universe, which has already cast David Corenswet as Superman.
It was reported that the field has now narrowed to two actresses, including Meg Donnelly, who has the upper hand by being the voice of Supergirl in the animated films, "Legion of Super-Heroes" and "Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths".
The one who wins the role will star in "Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow" following an introduction in Gunn's "Superman: Legacy". The movie, which is still in development, will be based on the comic book mini-series by Tom King, and will be penned by actress Ana Noguiera.
