1 Aug - Sorry, Deadpool fans. Ryan Reynolds has admitted that the dancing Deadpool was in fact, not him. Not by a mile.

The actor, who spoke about the viral clip from the opening sequence where the character is doing the choreography for N'Sync's "Bye Bye Bye", shared in an interview on "With Ashley and Company" that the man in the mask was actually a dancer named Nick Pauley.

"A guy named Nick Pauley is the guy that choreographed, and I mean he's doing a lot of the moves that have been established previously by NSYNC," he said.

"If it looks like the person who's dancing doesn't have arthritis, that's him. There's the moments where, you know, there's a bit of a pop and lock, except the pop, the pop really pops, like it cracks. And the lock will not unlock. So yeah, I would do anything I could to free myself up. But yeah, I will hang on Nick Pauley's talent. I will hang my hat on his talent there and thank him for his contribution and services," he added.

Pauley himself confirmed this on social media, where he shared a photo of him in the Deadpool getup.

"It's true! I am Dancepool in the new "Deadpool and Wolverine". This secret has been so hard to keep! I can't believe I have the honour of being @vancityreynolds "dance" double for the opening scene of the entire movie!!! Like what?!? What is life?" he posted.
