23 Dec - Although "Sonic the Hedgehog 3" has just premiered, Paramount Pictures recently announced that the fourth Sonic film is currently in development.

The studio revealed the news ahead of the premiere on 20 December, revealing that they are targeting spring 2027 as the release date for the fourth film.

However, there is no news as to who will be writing or if Jeff Fowler will be returning after helming the first three films.

The actor plays a dual role

The actor plays a dual role

In Sonic's third big screen adventure, Ben Schwartz returns as the voice of the titular character, while Jim Carrey plays a dual role as Dr. Robotnik and the mad scientist's grandfather.

It is noted that the first two films have collectively surpassed USD 725 million at the global box office.
